Wood Carving

I am into wood carving and fretwork as a hobby. I normally design patterns from scratch and use a Fret Saw to carve them on 1/4″ plywood. I also own and operate a Unimat-1 Basic machine set for more intricate fretwork on other types of wood.

I am specially interested in glue-free nail-free combinatorial patterns to assemble wooden artifacts. I have crafted things from calligraphic wall hangings to lamps, candle stands, pen holders and even Kleenex box holders. I have ample experience in screwing up the measurements and ending up with pieces that won’t fit or assemble.
